Q: WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU ACCEPT?

A: Generally if the item is made of primarily of metal we will buy it and recycle it. Click here for a complete list. We do not accept Propane tanks, and radioactive material for safety reasons. Oil tanks must be drained and swabbed to be acceptable. All refrigerators and freezers should have the Freon properly removed by a technician and have a sticker attached to it.

Q: WILL D.R. SCRAP METALS PICK UP SCRAP METAL FOR ME?

A: To get the best price for your scrap metal, we recommend that you drop it off to our yard. If you have a significant amount of scrap, give us a call and one of our staff members can make arrangements for a bin, boom truck or pickup. We do not go into residential homes are remove scrap metals.

Q: HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TYPE OF SCRAP METAL I HAVE AND WHAT IT IS WORTH?

A: Simply stop by our facility and one of our team members will help you identify your metal and price it.

Q: HOW DO I GET PAID FOR MY SCRAP METAL?

A: We pay competitive prices either by cash or cheque.

Q: DO YOU CHARGE TO PROVIDE A SCRAP BIN OR TO PICK UP A SCRAP VEHICLE?

A: The cost of the bin or scrap car pickup is built into the price you are paid for your scrap.

There must be enough weight in the bin to justify the cost.
